Not many people I know have gone to Alaska, in fact when I sent someone a snapchat on a plane with the Alaskan geo-tag they asked “What is there even to do?” Now, I am reassured A LOT. From boat tours and Denali park to ATV riding and gold panning I was never bored. Although I had fun doing all of these activities, my favorite was the helicopter ride up to Punchbowl Glacier. There is a high altitude Iditarod training camp, and I got the opportunity to go dog mushing. This was through Alpine Air Inc. The people are amazing and have everything perfectly planned out. They give you a rain jacket, thin snow pants, boots, gloves and sunglasses. The only thing I would recommend bringing is a warmer jacket to go under. Is it a little pricy, but 100% worth it.
Alaska is an extremely mountainous and beautiful state and seeing it through a different perspective is something I will never forget.
P.S. I have created an instagram, which is @completelyclaireblog. I will be posting more pictures from trips and such. Woot woot for travel!!!

Did you see any Alaskans kiss with their nose ?
